B) The current optometry consultant to the Navy Surgeon General

C) The current optometry consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General

D) The current chief of optometry serving the Veterans Administration

E) The current chief of optometry serving the Public Health Service

F) One junior OD (less than 5 years of federal optometry service) from each of the armed services

G) Up to three senior ODs (more than 15 years of federal optometry service)

The Advisory Council has no power within the Federal Optometric Society. It can only make recommendations and advise the organization. The individuals who choose to participate as members of the Advisory Council serve voluntarily and without compensation.
